Hyundai's new Mini 45EV self driving AI based SUV helps child patients to reduce treatment stress

Recently, Hyundai organized a PR Campaign with their new Little Big e-motion Project. Hyundai donated a Mini 45 EF SUV designed for children to get them ready emotionally for their treatment. The mini SUV drives children from their hospital beds to the treatment room. Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona is a children's hospital in Spain. This PR Campaign was genuinely for a real good purpose.

Now you might be thinking what's the point of making an SUV just to drive children from one hospital room to another?  Well, This SUV is not just another SUV, It is an AI-based SUV. After recognizing the emotions of the child this SUV sends the report to the hospital staff. If the patient child is not ready for the treatment the SUV itself interacts with the child and manipulates the patient's emotions.

The SUV has a camera and a screen in front. When the child sits the camera uses sophisticated facial recognition software to determine the emotional state of the little patient. It also has a heart rate monitor. If the patient is not ready for the treatment the sensors turn on the red light underneath the car. Then the car itself suggests some breathing exercises to the child to reduce the stress. The car keeps wirelessly updating the nurses and physicians about the condition of the child. The car autonomously drives to the destination and makes the patient ready for the treatment.
